About Us
Cathedral Gate Construction was founded by Serge and Garry — two building professionals whose reputations were built not on promises, but on the quality of work they left behind. Based in Salisbury, Wiltshire and working across the surrounding region, they established Cathedral Gate Construction with one clear purpose: to bring genuine craftsmanship and personal accountability to every project they complete.
Garry's role is Lead Project Manager, specialising in Construction Project Management with 30 plus years in Design, Planning and Project Management. Specialising in high-quality traditional and modern building methods, he delivers projects with a strong focus on client satisfaction. Experienced in managing residential builds, extensions and refurbishments from concept to completion — with budgets from £25,000 to a million plus — always ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget and to a consistently high standard.
Serge's expertise is on the ground. With a career in general building work taught by his grandfather — a master builder — he was taught in the traditional ways of things done properly and built to last. From brickwork, fit out and finishing trades, he oversees every site where his drive and ambition to master his craft delivers a commitment to the highest finish.
